Performed Self-Assessments and prepared a 1,000 person organization in IBM Burlington, VT for a Corporate Security Audit. We were one of the few organizations that passed.
Coordinated and developed a user-friendly interface for, then guided by phone and/or traveled to locations for assisting in the installation of the SDM (Specials Design Methodology) engineering design and validation system in IBM plants and laboratories world-wide.

Created the Data Security department, leading each security-related project, designing the data security approach, including corporate security policies, naming conventions and automation of security administrative tasks. Directed one data security specialist and one IBM consultant and coordinated system programming, application programming and DB2 database security conversion efforts. Conversions included:
Initiated and spear-headed a successful $10.5 Million law-suit against a software company who sold their software to us based on fraudulent claims.
Project Lead and technical team member on a conversion of an old accounting system (MAS-90) from DOS-based (Novell network) to a UNIX network. Lead support responsibility for 1½ years while research and decision was made to purchase a new system.
Senior member of the search-team for a Client/Server-based Human Resources system. The final recommendation was for PeopleSoft, which was successfully implemented and is now a piece of the integrated financials system recently purchased from PeopleSoft.
Headed up a search for Client/Server development tool for a Budget system front-end to the accounting system for 200+ users across WIN-95, OS/2 Warp, and Mac desktop O/S platforms. PowerBuilder 5.0 was selected.
Technical lead on the TS029 project for Trunk Member Automation and coordinated EDS efforts for warranty support and post-implementation issues across multiple Sprint departments nationwide and EDS personnel in Kansas City and St. Louis.
Leadership role in the design, setup, training and operations of new Tier I Production Support personnel and shifting existing resources to a new Tier II Production Support team.
Successfully negotiated, designed, coordinated and carried out a solution to a severe communications problem between two of Sprint's major systems (FMS and RMS). This included very sensitive negotiations with management and technical staff in both areas / systems. Many other systems used this interface and ultimately benefited from this change.
Coordinated efforts to develop and refine the Private Placement Memorandum and Business Plan. Worked with the securities attorney, the Chairman of the Board and President on internal due diligence required to rearrange and clean up the corporate structure in preparation for full disclosure of company information in the Private Placement Memorandum and a proper marketing reflection of the company's plans in the Business Plan.
Served as a team lead on the IMS to DB2 CLAS Conversion project. Helped to document and track issues, report progress to management and raise awareness of problems with suggested solutions or workarounds. Developed a helpful project management tool with an open issues log spreadsheet, which quickly imported into a Microsoft Access database, and macros that would e-mail reminders and selected cells in the spreadsheet to owners of open issues that were either past due or near coming due.
Provided Project leadership on many projects with SODS, CLAS and SIG systems on ISDN Provisioning, I2D2 (IMS to DB2 database conversion project), ICE Phase II (Integration of CLAS and EWO systems - automating information flow between the two systems), SeNNFroGB and other projects. Performed dual roles on ICE Phase II as both the CLAS system project leader and as the program manager with oversight for all systems and project leaders involved.
